Catching Up On Our Traitors
Harry Reid is one of the most despicable politicians and that’s not an easy thing with all the examples holding seats in our congress these days. He’s second only to Murtha in my mind.

(Yes, I know that our troops are cold-blooded killers ~ let me handle it.)
Both have done nothing but undercut our troops’ mission and make it more dangerous for them every day ~ all because of the Bush Derangement Syndrome manifested in all it’s ugliness in 2004.

If this was during the Civil War, I do not believe either one of them would be holding seats any longer.
Let’s see what Baghdad Harry has had to say this month:
Reid: Bush’s Priorities are Not America’s Priorities
Thursday, August 9, 2007
Washington, DC
—Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid made the following statement today in response to President Bush’s remarks this morning:
“It is laughable that a man who has turned record surpluses into record deficits would lecture anyone about proper investments for our nation. In the last month alone President Bush has signaled that he would block Democratic legislation to strengthen homeland security, provide healthcare for children and decrease America’s dependence on oil. President Bush may think he has his priorities straight, but unfortunately they align with his special-interest friends and not those of the American people.
“Whether it is privatizing Social Security, giving massive tax breaks to oil companies while consumers pay more at the pump or letting Osama Bin Laden roam free while we keep our troops mired in an open-ended Iraqi civil war, America has had just about enough of President Bush’s misguided priorities.”
When you point a finger at someone else, Harry, there are three pointing back at yourself.
Reid: Six Months Into Surge, Iraqis No Closer To Political Solution
Tuesday, August 14, 2007
Washington, DC—Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid made the following statement today on the six-month anniversary of President Bush’s escalation in Iraq:
“While our brave men and women continue to fight Iraq’s civil war, Iraqis remain far from a political solution and have not demonstrated any readiness to stand up and take responsibility for their own country. And as President Bush continues to cling stubbornly to his flawed strategy, Al Qaeda only grows stronger.
“This week’s political summit is a step in the right direction, but much more needs to be done as it is clearer than ever that we urgently need a new strategy. Over the past six months, despite President Bush’s unfounded claims of success, 565 Americans have been killed in Iraq while taxpayers have spent $60 billion. After the Administration’s September 15 report, we hope the President and Congressional Republicans will finally work with us to provide a real, overdue change of course in Iraq.”
He then lists all these articles from the NYT. Now that’s unbiased reporting!
Well, traitors do tend to hang together.
Let’s see, what else he has had to lie about:
Reid: Administration Owes Congress, American People An Honest Report On Iraq in September
Thursday, August 16, 2007
Washington, DC—Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid made the following statement today in response to reports that the White House would like to limit what the American people are told in the September progress reports on Iraq:
“The White House’s effort to prevent General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker from testifying openly and candidly before Congress about the situation in Iraq is unacceptable. Not only does it contradict the law President Bush himself signed in May, but it appears to be yet another politically driven attempt to avoid giving Congress and the American people an honest and open assessment of a war we can all see is headed in the wrong direction.
“From the very beginning of this war, the Bush Administration has refused to level with the American people about its flawed policy. It has instead done everything in its power to escape accountability and mislead us about the reality on the ground. The result: an open-ended civil war that has taken nearly 4,000 American soldiers’ lives and an Iraqi government that refuses to take responsibility for its own country.
“If the President is going to continue to ask American soldiers to fight in this civil war, ask taxpayers to spend $10 billion each month to fund this war and ask the American people for patience as he conducts this war, then those closest to the situation on the ground must give Congress and the American people a frank and honest account of this war free of White House political spin.”
Kinda a very black pot calling the kettle black, hey Harry?
And the Witch Hunts continue:
Reid, Pelosi Call on Bush to Provide Outstanding Information on FISA
The Lies of Senator Harry Reid
But let’s not stop there:
Gee, I guess when you get to be Majority Leader you can just make stuff up…
What is up with the Nevada voters?? Is it that you all are located too near The People’s Republic of California?? Or is it the heat?

(h/t to Wild Thing for the photos)
Well, that’s all the catching up I can stand for today ~ but tomorrow is another day! Heh
